SONIC WEEDS · THE SONIC BONSAI'S EVIL TWIN

Plant one sound. It won't stay planted.

Its companion piece, the Sonic Bonsai, is about cultivation: you shape a sound and prune it toward stillness. This one inverts the premise. You plant a single voice, and from there the interface does the growing.

Cut a sound to stop it, and two more take its place. Left alone, it still creeps outward on its own, sending runners toward the page's own furniture, the title, the buttons, the credit line at the bottom, until each one is grown over too.

Concept
A generative drone that treats deletion as reproduction.
Controls
Click a glowing sound in the plot to cut it. That's the only move you get.
Reset
Scorched Earth clears everything, but it always grows back from one seed.
Heads up
Nothing sustains, every sound it makes is a short creak, scritch or chirp, so it gets busier as it spreads rather than louder.

ONE SEED. NO SECOND CHANCES.

Clicking below wakes the audio and plants the first sound at the centre of the plot. After that, everything you do to it makes more of it.
